EAU FRAICHE,  AFTERSHAVE & MIST @perfume @eaufraiche @perfumeblogger * Eau fraiche has a very low perfume oil concentration compared to other types of perfume, which is between 1% to 3% but lasts for up to two hours similar to Eau de Cologne. The main difference to Eau de Cologne is the low amount of alcohol, as Eau Fraiche usually consists of a low fragrance concentration and a high water concentration. * An Aftershave has a light fragrance concentration of up to 3% and a high alcohol content. It is usually available in splash bottles and is used after shaving to help close the pores, and gives only one to two hours of wear. *  Mists are light and refreshing fragrances that are mostly water based with low alcohol content. A Mist fragrance type usually has a concentration of 1.5% to 3%. Due to the low alcohol content it can also be applied on the hair without causing it to dry out. You can expect a Mist fragrance to last a maximum of 2 hours. * This...

EAU DE COLOGNE @perfume @eaudecologne @perfumeblogger  *  One of the most popular types of perfume with the lowest concentration is Eau de Cologne (EDC) which generally has a 3% to 5% concentration which means it has a very high content of alcohol compared to fragrance and would generally only last around two hours.  *  Eau de Cologne is less expensive than all of the above fragrance types and is commonly available in bigger bottles such as traditional splash style bottles. *  The category known as Eau de Cologne is one of the lightest fragrance concentrations with essential oils or “perfume extract” of between 2 to 4%. *  It is often thought of as a masculine formula, however, there are feminine eau de colognes as well. *  They often come in large bottles as you tend to need more of it and will require regular applications.  *  It can last up to 2 hours and is fairly inexpensive.

It is less expensive than perfume. *   It has slightly more alcohol and water in the ingredients, however, it still has a high level of perfume oils.  *  It can last 6 to 8 hours. *  Even though it has a slightly higher alcohol content, it is s...

First type of perfume that is parfum #firsttypeofparfum #parfum

PARFUM:- @firsttypeofperfume  @parfum *  The most important type of perfume, Parfum, also known as Pure Perfume or Extrait de Parfum, boasts the highest fragrance concentration.  *  A fragrance that is classified as Parfum has a concentration between 20% to 40%.  *  From all types of fragrances Parfum commands the highest price and perfume strength (excluding absolute perfume oils of course) due to its high concentration of fragrance oil, meaning it lasts the longest on the skin whilst giving the wearer a full spectrum of Top, Heart and Base Notes that are released over time.  * One can expect a Parfum to last at least 8 hours and far beyond. *  This has the highest concentration of essential oils or “perfume extract” with around 20 to 30% essential oils in the fragrance blend. Ingredients : *  2 tbsps carrier oil like sweet almond, coconut, or jojoba *  6 tbsps 100-proof alcohol *  2.5 tbsps bottled water *  30 drops essential oils, i.e. 9 drops         top  notes, 15 drops middle notes, and six  drops base notes *  A coffee filter *  Small funnel *  Two clean dark-glass bottles with airtight lids Instructions : *  Pour the carrier oil into the bottle of your  choice and add base, middle, and top notes. Fill alcohol. *  Secure the lid, and let it sit for 48 hours. The longer you leave it, the stronger it gets. * Once you’re satisfied, add the bottled water. * Transfer the perfume to other bottle using a coffee filter. What is Perfumers Alcohol and how is it used and make perfumes

Image
Perfumers Alcohol is a special formulation which can be used by both professionals and amateurs who wish to make perfumes. It allows the simple addition and blending of essential oils and fragrances to produce crystal clear solutions. Perfumers alcohol is also used in the production of DIFFUSER OILS. The blended solutions remain clear and free from cloudiness. The 3 main ingredients of perfumers alcohol are: Ethanol (denatured) –Alcohol which is the main carrier for the fragrance oils. This evaporates quickly as it is warmed by skin temperature releasing the fragrances evenly over the surface. Isopropyl myristate – used in preparations where good absorption is desired. Monopropylene glycol – a co-solvent which allows the fragrance oils to be solubilised in the alcohol carrier. This helps to control the evaporation of the alcohol so that it does not flash off too quickly.
