Professional tips for making bath bombs

Image
Professional tips for making bath bombs: * Be sure to use liquid food colouring, not gels. Gels will clump together when you add them to the bicarbonate and it's hard to mix them in. * Once you've added the liquid to the mixture, you need to work quickly to mix everything together and push it into the mould as soon as you can. * To allow your bath bombs to dry, leave them uncovered in a cool, dry place (away from taps and humidity). They will take longer to set in humid weather. * If you've got more than one colour, why not make a rainbow bath bomb? Layer up the different colours and they will blend together beautifully. * The reaction citrus soda with the bicarbonate of soda is what makes your bath bomb fizzy.

Pour the base oil, essential oil and food colouring in a small bowl. Mix together well, combining the oil with the colouring as much as possible. 3. Very slowly add the oil mixture into the dry ingredients a little at a time, whisking between each addition. When all the oil is added, add a few tiny drops of water and whisk again (it will fizz when you add the water, so mix it in quickly). You're looking for the mixture to slightly clump together when pressed in your hand and keep its shape – it shouldn't be too wet. 4. If you're adding peel or flower petals to decorate, drop them into the bottom of your chosen mould. Pack your mixture tightly on top, pressing down and smoothing out the top with a teaspoon. 5. Leave your bath bomb in the mould to dry for 2-4 hrs, then carefully remove it. It's now ready...

Advantages of solid perfume

Image
Advantages of solid perfume  Solid Perfume comes in little containers - sometimes tins- and fit easily into a purse. It is a lot like lip balm. You take a little out with your finger and apply it.  The main reason I like solid perfume is that: it's just cool and it doesn't break. I'm a big-time klutz and tend to knock over bottles, throw my bag around with breakable stuff in it, and general knuck le-headed things like that. I wouldn't dare put any kind of glass bottle full of liquid in my bag, but I wouldn't have any fear for a tin of solid perfume.

Solid Perfume Basic Perfume

Image
Solid Perfume Basic Recipe When it comes to the less common solid perfumes, the base options are more limited, but as far as the ingredients go that you can put into the perfume, you can use anything that you'd use in the liquid perfumes. The bases that are recommended and most successfully used include: • Organic coconut oil  • Organic vegetable oil Both of these work well, but I personally love the way coconut oil conditions the skin, as well. In fact, it's one of the main products in natural skin care ingredients, as well (in case you didn't know). Two important things to remember when you are making solid perfumes are: 1. You will have to heat the oil up a bit to properly blend in your fragrant oils for it. It works best to pour it into the containers you pick and let it sit and re-thicken from there. 2. You cannot add any more than 20% other ingredients and have it return to a more solid state. What does this really mean? That depending on the container you...

What is solid perfume?

Image
Solid perfume: Solid perfumes or cream perfumes are perfumes in solid state rather than the liquid mix of alcohol (ethanol) and water used in eau de parfum, eau de toilette, eau de cologne, etc. Normally the substance that gives the cream its base comes from a type of wax that is initially melted. Once melted, a scent or several scents may be added. Solid perfume is used either by rubbing a finger or dipping a cotton swab against it and then onto the skin. Sometimes solid perfume can take more time for the deeper notes to come out than a spray perfume. The latest solid perfumes are designed as handbag aromas, so a compact way of making perfume more portable.

The colder months tend to have me reaching for all things that are comforting, familiar and warm. And perfume is no different. The Third Note of Making Perfume That is Base Note. #perfume #perfumeblogger #basenote #essentialoil #bloggerlife

Image
The Base Notes @perfume @perfumeblogger  @middlenote @essentialoil @bloggerlife * The base notes are the final fragrance notes that appear once the top notes are completely evaporated.  * The base notes mingle with the heart notes to create the full body of the fragrance, but are typically associated with the dry-down period.  * The job of the base notes is to provide the lasting impression. These often rich notes linger on the skin for hours after the top notes have dissipated. * Common fragrance base notes include cedarwood, sandalwood, vanilla, amber, patchouli, oakmoss and musk. * Without the combination of the three levels of notes, a fragrance just wouldn't be aromatically appealing. But together, they create beautiful scents. * Recognize the basic notes are widely used. These include cedar, cypress, ginger, patchouli, pine, sandalwood, vanilla and vetiver.

The second Note of Making Perfume That is Middle Note. #perfume #perfumeblogger #middlenote #essentialoil #bloggerlife

Image
The Middle Notes @perfume @perfumeblogger  @middlenote @essentialoil @bloggerlife * The middle notes, or the heart notes, make an appearance once the top notes evaporate.  * The middle notes are considered the heart of the fragrance. * They last longer than the top notes and have a strong influence on the base notes to come. * A perfume's heart is generally pleasant and well-rounded. It is ofen a smooth combination of floral or fruit tones; sometimes infused with spices like cinnamon, nutmeg or cardamom. * Common fragrance middle notes include geranium, rose, lemongrass, ylang ylang, lavender, coriander, nutmeg, neroli and jasmine. * Recognize the middle notes are widely used. These include black pepper, cardamom, chamomile, cinnamon, cloves, pine needles, jasmine, juniper, lemongrass, neroli, nutmeg, rose, rosewood or rosewood, and reeds.

The First Note of Making Perfume That is Top Note. #perfume #perfumeblogger #topnote

Image
The Top Notes @perfume @perfumeblogger @topnote *  Also sometimes referred to as the opening notes or head notes, the top notes of a fragrance are generally the lightest of all the notes.  *  They are recognized immediately upon application of the perfume. *  The top notes are also the first to fade given their light molecular structure, but this does not mean they aren't of utmost importance. * Recognize notes on the widely used. Included in the above are not popular are basil, bergamot, grapefruit, lavender, lemon, lime, mint, orange blossom or neroli, rosemary and sweet orange. *  The top notes of a fragrance represent the first impression. How many times have you tested a fragrance only to be turned off right away? Why? Because the top notes didn't make a lasting impression on you. * It is hugely important that the top notes not only succeed at luring you in, but also smoothly transition into the heart of the fragrance.

Perfume is a mixture of fragrances of different levels, also known as notes. When you spray the fragrance to the skin, these notes will be ejected in the following order:   • Not above or top note, is the first fragrance that wafted. Not this, too, will disappear early, usually within 10-15 minutes.   • Not middle or middle note will be rising when not on disappeared. This is the core fragrance, which determines the group-for example perfume fragrance oriental, woody or woody, freshness or fresh, and flowers or floral.   • Not base or base notes accentuate and strengthen the middle notes. People call it the theme of perfume. Not a perfumery base, which allows the fragrance last 4-5 hours in your skin.
