• Use lemon juice as a clarifying treatment for dull strands. Squeeze the juice of one lemon into a bowl and bring it into the shower. After you’ve shampooed your hair, apply the lemon juice with your hands from root to tip.Rinse after one minute.Lemon juice will remove minerals from hard water and soapy buildup.

• Highlight your hair using lemon juice. Mix ¼ cup (59ml) of lemon juice with ¾ cup (177ml) of water. Apply the juice with a brush to the areas you want to highlight on your hair, usually from root to tip to frame the face or around the top layer of hair.For subtle highlights, allow the hair to dry indoors.For bright highlights, go into the sunlight and allow the sun to dry your hair.
This method is most effective with blond or light brown hair.
